Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre (QSAC) is being repositioned as a core Brisbane 2032 Olympic venue. As Lead Sports Architect at Buchan, Jake Martin led the strategic brief development for the athletics campus redevelopment — including capacity analysis, federation compliance planning (World Athletics), community use integration, and multi-tenant coordination.
The project required careful balancing of Olympic legacy requirements against ongoing community and state-level athletics operations, with significant stakeholder management across Athletics Australia, World Athletics, and Brisbane 2032 delivery authorities.
